Canoeing and Kayaking in Pinchot State Forest
The Blue Ridge/Lehigh Tract provides 2.5 miles of river frontage on the upper Lehigh River -- including a 4-acre area off River Road that provides access to the Lehigh River.
This small piece of land is known as the Evergreen Forest, and lies about .7 miles north of the intersection of Bear Lake Road and River Road.
Pond Creek, a local tributary to the Lehigh River, enters the Lehigh just downstream of the Evergreen Forest.
Forest visitors may also utilize the Moon Lake Recreation Area. This 47-acre lake is open to non-motorized and electric motor watercraft only.
