Fishing in Rothrock State Forest
The area in and around the Rothrock State Forest provides multiple and varied fishing opportunities. Various coldwater trout streams flow through the forest, notably the Little Juniata River, Spruce Creek, and Standing Stone Creek. The Juniata River and its branches provide an outstanding warm water fishery, particularly smallmouth bass. Raystown Lake is noted for its population of large striped bass.
