Overview

Tioga State Forest derives its name from the Seneca phrase “meeting of two rivers.” It covers 161,890 acres in:

  • Bradford County
  • Tioga County

The forest hosts the Pine Creek Gorge, also known as the “Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.”
