Fishing in Clear Creek State Forest
Fishing for cold and warm water species is available during the appropriate season in the many streams and rivers that flow through the forest.
Kennerdell Tract
More than six miles of the Allegheny River, as well as Dennison Run and Bullion Run, are available for fishing.
Clear Creek and Callen Run Tracts
The Clarion River contains both trout and smallmouth bass. The Clarion can be accessed from the parking area along Route 949 near Belltown.
Stocked trout streams include .75 miles Clear Creek and 2.25 miles of Callen Run.
Maple Creek Tract
The entire length of Maple Creek (2.25 miles) contained within the Maple Creek Tract is stocked with trout.
