Boating at Tyler State Park

Neshaminy Creek offers calm, easy boating upstream from the boat rental.
Boat Registration
Motorboats must display a current boat registration.
Non-powered boats launched in the park must display one of the following:
- Boat registration
- Launching permit or mooring permit from Pennsylvania state parks -- available at most state park offices
- Launching permit from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission
Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission regulations and laws apply.
Boat Rental
During the summer season, the boat concession rents:
- Canoes
- Single Kayaks
- Double Kayaks
- Paddle boards
The rental is open Thursday through Monday, from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day -- weather permitting.
Hours of operation are 10:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. The last boat goes out at 5:00 P.M.
A deposit and driver’s license is required.
Special rates apply for weekday groups of five or more. There are also half-day and full-day rates.
